Argentina may have fallen in the World Cup final to Germany, but they put their loss to good, noble use.

According to Argentine paper El Dia (h/t 101 Great Goals), the players donated $135,000 for the runner-up finish to donate to Garrahan, a pediatric hospital in Buenos Aires.

The donation was made at the urging of Javier Mascherano and captain Lionel Messi. The donation was made through Messi's foundation, as he had previously donated to the hospital.

According to the hospital's website, the added funds will be used to construct the Center for Integrative Cancer Patient care.
